Bankura District Court Recruitment 2018 

The District & Session Judge Bankura West Bengal invites applications from eligible and interested job aspirants for the following vacancies :

Name of the Organization–  The District & Session Judge

Job Location-West Bengal

Nature of Recruitment–  Direct

Total Vacancies–  55

Name of the Post–  English Stenographer Grade III

No. Of Vacancies–  9 UR- 4, SC- 2, OBC- 3

Qualification–  Madhyamik or equivalent examination and  at least a Certificate in Computer Training and a satisfactory fingering speed in computer operation. For Stenographer Grade III, a minimum speed @ 80 w.p.m. in Shorthand and typing speed @ 30 w.p.m. is required.

Pay Scale-  7100- 37600 + 3900 GP

Age Limit– 18 to 40 years  as on 1/1/2018 and age relaxation for reserve category as per government rules  

Name of the Post– Lower Division Clerk

No. Of Vacancies–  14 UR- 8, SC- 3, ST- 1, OBC- 2

Qualification–  Madhyamik or equivalent  and  possess at least a Certificate in Computer Training and a satisfactory fingering speed in computer operation.  

Pay Scale-  Rs. 5,400 – 25,200 + 2600 GP

Age Limit–  18 to 40 years  as on 1/1/2018 and age relaxation for reserve category as per government rules

No. Of Vacancies–  6 UR- 4, SC- 1, OBC- 1

Qualification–  Madhyamik or equivalent

Pay Scale-  Qualification

Pay Scale-  Rs. 5,400 – 25,200 + 2300 GP

Age Limit– 18 to 40 years  as on 1/1/2018 and age relaxation for reserve category as per government rules

Qualification–  8th

Pay Scale-  Rs. 4,900 – 16,200 + 1700/- GP

Age Limit–  18 to 40 years  as on 1/1/2018 and age relaxation for reserve category as per government rules-

Application Fee–  Rs. 300/- for UR and OBC and Rs. 200/- for others

 Bankura District Court Stenographer Syllabus exam pattern

Name of Test Detail of syllabus and marks
Paper – I (General English) (100 Marks) Syllabus: Spelling, Correct use of words, Correctness of sentences, Use of common phrases, Synonyms and Antonyms, Punctuation, etc. This test will last for 02 hours. There will be 100 Multiple Choice Questions each carrying 01 mark. 01 mark shall be deducted for each wrong answer. Only the successful candidates of Paper I examination who will qualify, the qualifying marks which will be fixed by this Authority, shall be called for Paper II and paper III Examination.
Paper – II (Dictation & Transcription (400 Marks Dictation @80 w.p.m. lasting for 06 (six) minutes followed by transcription of notes in candidates’ own handwriting for an hour. Transcription Sheets will be supplied by the Authority. However, Shorthand Notebook, Pen, Pencil shall have to be brought by the Candidates at the time of Examination. Used shorthand Note-sheets need to be attached with the transcription sheet(s) before leaving the examination hall
Paper – III ( Typing on Computer (100 marks) The candidates are required to type from an English Text (to be supplied by the Authority) accurately in a Computer at a speed which is not less than 30 w.p.m. This test will last for 10 (ten) minutes. Before the commencement of test, the Candidates shall be given 02 (two) minutes’ time for practice with the Computer.

Bankura District Court LDC Group D Syllabus Exam Pattern

The candidates shall have to appear in a Written Examination of 100 marks comprising 100 Multiple Choice Questions each carrying 01 marks on Simple Arithmetic, English, Bengali and General Knowledge. 01 marks shall be deducted for each wrong answer. The duration of the Examination will be of 02 hour. On the basis of the result of the Written Examination, a number of successful candidates will be called for Personality Test, which will be of 20 marks. On the basis of the total marks obtained in the Written Examination and Personality Test, the final panel will be prepared

Note- The standard of Examination for Lower division clerk and Process server is Secondary education and for Group –D is Class VIII.
